Day 2 of our 3D Printer build named the LayerFused C201 where we build a DIY 3D Printer from scratch.   This DIY 3D Printer build is similar to many Prusa i3 builds but uses models freely available from Thingiverse.  Today we focus on the Y axis assembly.  This budget 3D printer build uses 2020 extrusion for the Y axis is construction.  This allows you to build a strong but budget friendly 3D Printer.   At the end of this video your Y axis should be ready to go.

We invite anyone to reach out to us with a complete list of cheaper parts to help the community build this cheaper. If you're willing to wait for part from china they are likely the cheapest route to go for anything other than extrusion.  That weighs more so domestic suppliers will get you a good deal since you wont have to pay as much in shipping.  We would love to hear about your deals in the comments!
